Good morning.An out-of-state fugitive is behind bars following a multi-agency standoff in Elmira. The Elmira Police Department, along with State Police and U-S Marshals, executed an arrest warrant at a home on Elm Street for thirty-three-year-old Gordon Jenkins the Third. Jenkins was wanted out of Indiana for failing to register as a violent sex offender and was taken into custody without further incident.In political news, Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman is calling for a state investigation into Governor Kathy Hochul following last week's fatal motel fire in Broome County.
